When Life Feels Hard, Remember This...

Hello friend,

When life feels hard, it’s easy to believe we’re trapped in the struggle. But the truth is, we are always only one thought away from peace.

Not because the hard things magically disappear, but because peace isn’t “out there” somewhere for us to find. It is within us. It is our truest nature.

It sits just beneath the surface of the chaos, waiting to be reclaimed.
Patiently.
Lovingly.
Waiting.

Life is going to be loud. We are going to experience hard things. We are going to experience hurt, frustration, and anger. But we get to choose how we navigate those things. Do we ride the tide, swept up in the big emotions? Or do we choose to return to peace?

  • To pause
  • To notice the story we’re telling ourselves
  • To gently shift our perspective
  • To allow ourselves to rest in the peace that’s already here.

No perfection required. No spiritual performance. Just one honest moment of choosing again.

From Pause to Reset

Today, if things feel heavy, try this:

  1. Pause: Take one slow, deep breath and feel your feet on the floor.
  2. Notice: What thought is tightening your chest or knotting your stomach?
  3. Shift: Ask, “Is there a softer way to see this?”
  4. Rest: Even for 10 seconds, let your body settle into that softer thought.

It’s that simple. And it's that hard.

But every time you choose peace, even for a breath, you remember who you really are. You allow your nervous system to regulate. And you reclaim the calm center that is your super-power.

With love,
Jessica

What If Finding Your Purpose Is Simpler Than You Think?
When I was doing private coaching, so many clients came to me wanting to find their purpose. They would sit across from me and ask, “Why did my soul come here? What am I meant to accomplish?” There was always a sense of sadness tucked inside those questions—as if life was slowly passing them by, and they were somehow missing the mark. Those questions feel overwhelming, impossible even, to answe...
Through Uncertain Times in the Certainty of Love
Hello friend, A while back, I sent the following message to a friend who was struggling: "The moment we release any sense of wanting to control, I truly feel like the Universe can THEN step in and deliver exactly what we need. I’m trying to welcome uncertainty as my deepest intimacy with God. We are loved beyond our ability to comprehend…and so we can flow in uncertainty within the certainty of...
Finding Clarity in the Chaos
On the outside, I am a pillar of grace. A colleague complimented me on my patience, and I smiled, nodded, and accepted the praise. On the inside, however, I was screaming. The collision of anxiety and ego. I had a coworker who lived in a perpetual state of "the sky is falling." She was a modern-day Chicken Little, constantly asking endless questions and searching for nonexistent holes in our sy...
